The Environment
How green are you?
We’re starting small and have big ambitions to be green. For now, our supplier is making good progress with water-based inks, solar-panelled energy and all based in the UK – so keeping carbon emissions as low as possible. Plus there’s no child labour – phew!
How do I recycle my mats?
Our mats are built to last. So if you decide to finish with your mats we’d love it if you regifted them. They aren’t currently recyclable but the upcycling possibilities are endless. How about a see-saw for a hamster? Or a nice hat for your mum?
Delivery and Returns
How does delivery work?
We use a courier service, MyHermes, to get your placemats over to you in one piece and on time. You’ll be able to track it with a handy number supplied at checkout.
Do you do returns?
We’re super small so can’t offer free returns just yet.
When will you be back in stock?
While we’re small we need to be careful about batch sizes. This means from time to time we may be out of stock. But follow us on Instagram and we’ll let you know when we’re back to being fully stocked up.
Looking after your mats
Are they dishwasher safe? No. We’re far too delicate for that. Along with your non-stick pans and your antique cat ornaments, please keep our mats away from the dishwasher.
How can I clean my mats?
In the words of Kim Woodburn. “Ooh, my love. Get your favourite cloth, just a dash of kitchen spray and give them a good wipe.” Thanks Kim. You’re the best.

No Watson’s purely fictional but if you have Watson look-a-like, please send us a pic!
Who is the Hamster and why does it not have a name?
We don’t actually know where the hamster came from. He was just too enthusiastic, we had to keep him.
